Players set for East Midlands

RUGBY: East Midlands have been named in Pool Two of the County Championship Shield and will start with a home match against Buckinghamshire in Huntingdon.

East Midlands beat Army A in a warm-up match recently and the squad to play Buckinghamshire will include players from Old Northamptonians, Luton, Kettering, Ampthill & District, Towcestrians, Bedford Athletic, Peterborough and Leighton Buzzard. East Midlands started their campaign with a 23-5 defeat to Buckinghamshire at Huntingdon. They play Essex at Eton Manor in their next match on Saturday.
