GREAT Brickhill riding school and livery yard, Breyerly Springs Farm, enjoyed its traditional Prix Caprilli horse show over the Christmas break. This popular event attracted more than 50 entrants from the yard and included competitors aged six to over 40.
The competition was based on a mixed jump and dressage course, divided into five classes to suit all abilities plus an extra prize for the most Christmassy entrant. The classes were won by Katie Deards on Squidge, Charlotte Lucas on Flash, Lucy McGarvey on Freddie, Amber Compton on Buster, and Rhianne on Toffee. Emma Ling on Bliss was judged the most Christmassy.

The annual event was hosted by yard owner Beverley Rumbold, who supplied mulled wine and mince pies throughout the day, and it was organised by Wendy Compton. All enjoyed the fun Christmas spirit and each received a detailed score and critique from "Judge Janice", a top level competition judges' writer.
