Leighton’s musical festival isn’t quite over yet – the big Oxjam Barn Dance is back with local band The Ouzel Valley Ranters.

The Barn Dance takes place on Friday, April 4 at Brooklands Community Hall at 7.30pm. Tickets are available on the door and cost £5 or £15 for a family ticket for two adults and two children.

The Ouzel Valley Ranters are based in Leighton Buzzard, with the band made up of some very experienced local musicians who are popular for their energetic foot stomping ceilidh music from Scotland, Ireland, USA, England and Eastern Europe.

Don’t worry if you are not familiar with the dances - they are easy to follow and the band has a caller who will teach all the steps. For more information visit www.oxjamleightonbuzzard.org.uk or contact fiddler Katrina Grant on 07531 748339.
