The latest concert organised by Leighton Buzzard music club will see clarinettist James Noble and pianist Simon Callaghan perform.

Organisers says the musicians are among the cream of young British musicians who have gained the coveted Countess of Munster Trust award early in their professional careers. The trust is also sponsoring the concert.

James and Simon will play a colourful and varied programme including the great clarinet sonatas by Poulenc and Bax, as well as Gerald Finzi’s well-loved Bagatelles, Lutoslawski’s brilliant Polish Dance Preludes and the virtuosic La Traviata Fantasy by Lovreglio.

The concert starts at 7.30pm on Saturday, February 20.

Tickets are £13 for adults and £11.50 for Friends of Leighton Buzzard Music Club.

Students can gain entrance for £5 and is free for accompanied children aged 16 and under.
