A longstanding feud between Verona’s Montague and Capulet families brings devastating consequences for two young lovers caught in the conflict.

The production has been updated to present a modern and passionate version of Shakespeare’s much loved tale.

Prior to playing Prince Kit in the updated fairytale, Scottish actor Richard Madden was best known for playing Robb Stark in the cult fantasy series Game of Thrones.

Lily James will also be a familiar face to television audiences having been in Downton Abbey as Lady Rose Aldridge.
