The Heath Band has a very busy festive season on the horizon, starting on Saturday (December 6) with their Christmas Concert – this year at Hockliffe Street Baptist Chapel.

Tickets are available from band members and are limited so buy as soon as possible.

Next up is a concert scheduled for the British Legion on Sunday, December 14, performances at Middleton Hall, Milton Keynes on December 13 and 20 (9am-11.30am). Then there’s Carols on the Green in Heath and Reach on Friday, December 19 at 7pm and the full band finishes it’s Christmas concerts at the Brooklands Club on Sunday, December 21. This year the band has been asked by several pubs and other venues in the area to provide a small party to play carols. These include Cheddingon Village Hall, The Ashwell Arms, Leighton, The Hare, Linslade, and Leighton Cricket Club.

A spokesman said: “During the year the band decided that they would work towards providing a Guide Dog for the Blind and we hope that if you see our boxes a donation would be appreciated.

“Thank you all for your support over the year and we wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.”
