Swingrave is a monthly tea dance that raises money for local and national charities, in Wingrave.
The group meet on the first Sunday of each month from 2pm till 8pm at Wingrave Community Centre.
Swingrave has been raising money for over eight years, the total stands at £13,136.
Money is raised through an entrance fee, a raffle and donations at the event.
Sandy Bennett, event organiser, said: “We get together once a month and have a Swing dance, it is a bit of Lindy-Hop, Charleston and Balboa, it is really fun, there is a workshop and then the main event.
“Last month we raised £270 for BASIC, which is a charity run from The Hare pub for homeless ex-service men.
“It is a great charity, giving them advice and pointing them in the right direction.”
She has chosen Save The Children for this month’s charity.
Last year the group held a workshop which was taught by some Charleston Choreographers for Strictly Come Dancing.
Ms Bennett said: “It is a really good, fun event, it is really enjoyable with friendly people and a relaxing atmosphere, all money raised goes to a great cause.
“Everyone is welcome, from beginners to professionals.”
