The 170-seat venue had to close its doors last month with the virus taking a grip and the country being placed in lockdown.

But in an update about the rescheduling of some of the theatre's live shows, Central Beds Council has revealed it may opt to limit ticket sales to meet social distancing guidelines when it is deemed appropriate to resume performances.

A statement reads: "Discussions will continue as to the best way to re-open when the time comes. This may include limiting the number of seats available if necessary, to maintain the distance we have become used to and may still need."

Ticket holders for events will be contacted by the box office when the building re-opens and any enquiries can be made to the theatre via Facebook, Twitter or by emailing [email protected]

The public are urged not call the box office as no-one is currently in the building and customers who bought at the box office can only be refunded once the building is open.

Online customers who have yet to choose refunds or exchanges (for vouchers or donations) and box office customers wishing to make exchanges, can email [email protected] for processing as long as the transaction is less than six months old.
