Another high profile name has announced it is pulling out of Luton town centre.
Toby Carvery on the corner of St George’s Square is closing on Monday, March 7.
A notice on the door of the premises reveals the decision, which follows the recent closure of Wetherspoon pub, the London Hatter, last month.
The notice for customers from the management reads: “We would like to thank you for your ongoing support and custom over the last few years.
“Together we have created some good memories and eaten some good food.
“Thank you and goodbye.”
The restaurant only arrived in Luton in November 2011 and its website proudly declares: “We’re Bedfordshire’s favourite carvery restaurant.”
A spokesman for Toby Carvery has so far been unavailable for comment.
