A former Cedars Upper School student is hosting a tea party on Sunday, March 29, to raise money for charity.
Natasha Dedman, 28, hopes to raise £2000 for the charity that is close to her heart.
Against Breast Cancer charity is dedicated to funding ground breaking research to improve detection and increase survival after breast cancer diagnosis.
She said: “I will be aiming to raise lots of money for Against Breast Cancer, as it is a charity that is very close to my heart.
“My mum has twice battled against breast cancer and is a huge inspiration to me.”
The tea party will be at Heath and Reach Barn from 2pm till 5pm.
There will be homemade cakes, craft stalls and a raffle with lots of prizes.
Natasha, of Newton Leys, will also be running her first marathon on Sunday, April 26.
She said: “I decided to run the marathon as I wanted to set myself a challenge that would completely take me out of my comfort zone and do something that I have never done before.
“The training has been really hard and my shins have been injured since last year, but I am determined to make sure I finish the 26 miles come April.
“I am looking forward to Sunday but the marathon will definitely be a challenge for me.
“My friends have helped me organise the party, I hope plenty of people will come down and help raise money for a fantastic cause and help make a difference. ”
