A plan to guide the development of new homes in Wing has been formally adopted by Aylesbury Vale District Council.
The authority has approved the neighbourhood scheme for the village after they were supported by residents in a local referendum.
It sets out a vision for future land use in the areas and will be used in deciding relevant planning applications and appeals. In a referendum on the plans held on March 5, 94.45% of those who voted in Wing voted yes to the proposals. Neighbourhood plans are part of the Government’s ambitions to give communities a greater say in how their areas develop.
