A fitness model from Linslade convicted of harassing his ex-girlfriend with hundreds of abusive text messages has had his appeal dismissed.
Matt Dunford, 30, of Soulbury Road, was convicted in his absence at Hammersmith Magistrates Court back in March. He had been unable to give evidence during his trial after taking an accidental overdose.
Dunford had bombarded Brazilian Amanda Branco with texts and emails and called her up to 30 times a day when their six-month relationship broke down.
In spite of the conviction, Dunford expressed confidence in an appeal, heard at Isleworth Crown Court on September 18. The matter was dismissed.
Personal trainer Dunford earned the epithet ‘Britain’s Vainest Man’ in the press after revealing he spent £10,000 a year on his looks.
