A man has been charged following an incident outside Linslade Middle School on Tuesday.
Marius Botan, 43, of no fixed abode, was arrested after police received reports of a man indecently exposing himself outside the school.
He has subsequently been charged with exposure, theft, and possessing a knife in a public place.
Botan has been remanded in custody pending a court appearance at Luton Magistrates’ Court on June 22.
Detective constable David Adams, investigating, said: “I would like to reassure the public that we took rapid action upon receiving the reports of the incident, which we understand may have been unsettling for the community.”
