Police are investigating after a woman was racially abused by two teenage boys who boarded the Milton Keynes to Aylesbury bus at Linslade.

At about 8.10pm on Wednesday, the victim, a 61-year-old woman, was travelling on the 150 Arriva bus service.

Two teenage boys boarded the bus at Church Road, Linslade, and sat behind the woman at the back of the bus.

They touched the woman’s hat and told her to remove it so they could take photographs of her.

She challenged the boys and told them to stop, however the teenagers continued to make comments throughout the journey.

At about 8.40pm the woman got off the bus at Aylesbury Road, Bierton, known locally as the ‘Schweppes bus stop’.

The boys followed the woman off the bus and after swearing at her and throwing her hat into a bush they then racially abused her.

The first boy is white, about 15-years-old, 5ft 2ins and slim and he was wearing a white tracksuit top with stripes on the arms and white trousers.

The second boy is white, about 15-years-old, 5ft and slim.

He was wearing a grey tracksuit top and bottoms and a white baseball cap.

Investigating officer, PC Sharon Cann said: “At least five other passengers were on the 150 bus who could have witnessed the boys’ behaviour towards the victim.

“The victim has also stated that later, after getting off the bus, two members of the public were walking towards her.

“When they saw what was happening they started to approach.

“I would ask anyone who may have seen what happened to contact me on 101.”
