Talented performers from a disability dance club are inviting Leighton-Linslade residents to watch their spectacular Christmas Showcase.
Spectrum Community Arts (SCA) is inviting families to enjoy festive fun and support their performance at Cedars Upper School on Tuesday, December 11.
SCA’s seven different groups will be treating the audience to routines they have been practising since September, with performers ranging from age four to 45.
Jade Cook, founder of SCA, said: “We have some street routines, some Bollywood, cheesy numbers and dances that tell a story about people breaking the mould - and about some cookie bakers, too!
“There is also a shadow puppet tale of three little fish living under the sea and a Christmas song and finale to get everyone in the festive spirit.
“The show is a sharing of everything our participants can and have achieved.”
The dancers will also be in Centre MK on December 15 at 2.15pm (between M&S and Costa Coffee) to perform an abridged version of the show.
Tickets for the December 11 showcase, which starts at 6pm, are £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. All proceeds will go towards SCA and you can buy tickets in advance or on the door.
Tickets also include a festive treat (cakes, mince pies and cookies) and guests can participate in a raffle.
Jade added: “I would like to say a massive thank you to our amazing volunteers, and to Waitrose, Cedars Upper School and everyone who has supported us.”
