A national estate agency with headquarters in Leighton Buzzard has raised
£2,670 for the NSPCC.
The funds are raised at the annual Connells partner’s ball and estate agency chief executive David Plumtree presented the charity with a cheque at the company’s head office in Hockliffe Street.
He said: “We are proud to have raised this impressive amount and to yet again support such an important cause. Year after year we continue to support the NSPCC, whose work is so important to the lives of many children around the UK and we are delighted to be able to contribute to the cause in this way.”
Jacqui Venters, community fundraising manager at the NSPCC who received the cheque, said: “We are very grateful to Connells for their wonderful support. The NSPCC is here to help prevent abuse and neglect and donations like this help to make that possible. On behalf of the charity and all of the children that will be helped I want to say a huge thank you to all of Connells’ employees and clients.”
