A road leading from Leighton to Soulbury was closed overnight after an angry dispute between drivers in which a gun was allegedly involved.
Police are investigating reports of dangerous driving and criminal damage in the incident, which took place at Burcott, near Wing at 9.30pm last night (Monday).
A silver Ford Fiesta was damaged after the argument broke out between drivers.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “Following the dispute, a black hatch back vehicle was seen to make off.
“It is alleged that the offender may have been in possession of a firearm, this is also being investigated.
“Police had closed the B4032 Leighton Road overnight in order to investigate the incident although it is now reopened.”
