George Wyatt, of Shenley Hill Road, celebrated his birthday on Saturday in Lyme Regis with his family, where he shaved of his hair for the charity.

MIND is a mental health charity that aims to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone, they provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem and campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

George said: “I have suffered considerably with mental health in recent years, and I am desperate to give something back to a charity which supports such an important and serious cause.

“I haven’t set a target of how much I want to raise, I merely want to raise awareness and money for MIND.

“It felt very strange shaving off my hair, and I could see my whole family’s facial expressions whilst it was happening, which was quite funny.”
