The Picture House raised £1500 for Macmillan when they took part in the world’s biggest coffee morning and a team of staff climbed Ben Nevis.
Jacob Beasley, Andy McCormick and Finn Dodd, decided to take on the challenge of climbing the UK’s biggest mountain in October to raise money for the charity that supports people affected by cancer.
Andy said: “It was good fun, but a long day, we set off from the base of the mountain at 9am and did not get back down till 5.30pm.
“The mountain was amazing with some incredible sights and we have all said we would do it again, probably in the summer.”
The Lake Street pub held their coffee morning in September, staff baked cakes and provided coffee for customers, they raised £750 on the day.
