A group of dart players that regularly play for the Leighton Buzzard District Dart League took part in a 24-hour dart marathon to raise much needed funds for the Families United Network.

Eddie Rhodes, Luke Rhodes, Dan Turney, James Sadlier (Chunky), Steve Johnson, Dave Johnson, Paul Marshall, Donna Perry, Diane Rhodes and Sam Johnson all gave up some of the Christmas break to support the event.

The event was held at the Claypipe, with Paul and Elaine from the pub supplying food and hot drinks throughout the 24 hours to keep everyone going.

FUN supports children with a disability and their families, throughout Bedfordshire. This is through holiday clubs, trips, outings and much more.

A FUN spokesman said: “We would like to say a big thank you to all that played, supported and donated towards the event.
