A Linslade barber was the man killed in a road accident on Whipsnade Road, Kensworth, last Tuesday (February 17).
Nadeem Younis, owner of Deen Barbers of Wing Road, died when his Nissan Micra was involved in a collision with an HGV at around 8.30am.
The lorry driver received minor injuries.
A note on the shop window states that Mr Younis had been killed in a road accident and the shop would be shut for at least three weeks.
A family member told the LBO that it was believed that Mr Younis, of Walthamstow, had suffered a heart attack at the wheel, adding: “He was going to the shop on February 17 and normally goes on the train but on that day he was in a car.
“He was a nice guy. He was 40 and had two children, a boy and a girl.”
The collision occurred opposite the Dunstable Downs Visitor Centre and police officers closed the road, which was reopened shortly before 1pm.
A full investigation is taking place and any witnesses are asked to contact PC Ralph with any information on 101 or text 07786 200011.
