Students at Gilbert Inglefield Academy came to school in non-uniform with a difference!

The dress code could be either a scientific theme or a Second World War theme, and the students came in a variety of costumes such as mad scientists, nurses and engineers.

Headteacher Rachel Swaffield said: “There were some very imaginative outfits, and we raised money to fund our forthcoming Enigma Day on March 17 when Bletchley Park staff will be visiting the school with a real Enigma code machine.

“We will also be donating some of the proceeds to the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation which is dedicated to the funding of research at the forefront of treating paralysis caused by spinal cord injury.”
