A Motorist slammed Central beds Council after his car was left covered in muck after the pavement was jet washed in High Street, Leighton.
Chris Nash was parked outside Brian Clark opticians on Wednesday, February 24, when the unfortunate incident took place.
Speaking the next day, Mr Nash said: “I just cannot believe the stupidity of jet washing the pavement when cars are parked there.
“There was no signs. I parked the car and came back and it was covered in muck.”
A Central Beds spokesman said: “The jet washing was carried out by our subcontractor Ramora. They contacted the resident, expressed their apologies and offered a reimbursement for having his car washed and any out-of-pocket expenses.
“The resident accepted the apology and declined any recompense.”
