Hedgelands Nursery celebrated its 20 birthday with a party for the children this month.
Nursery owner Denise Akindulureni has seen Hedgelands progress over the years.
She was an RAF wife and ran the nursery from RAF Stanbridge but when it closed she found new premises at Hornbeam Community hall and Eggington Village hall and opened in March 1995.
Mrs Akindulureni said: “I am very proud of how far the nursery has come and it is great to celebrate our 20th birthday.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support and recommending Hedgelands to their families and friends.
“There has been lots of changes during the last 20 years due to the 15 hours free funding for three-year-olds and more recently for two-year-olds.
“We have made many changes and amendments to the Early Years Foundation Stage.
“We have children attending whose parents attended the Hedgelands Nursery as children.”
The children made bunting and party hats and they had a cake to celebrate the 20th birthday.
