Specsavers raised £100 for the Hearing Dogs charity at an in-store cake sale.
The Waterborne Walk opticians organised the fundraiser to raise awareness and money for the charity.
Ekta Kitecha, store director, said: “We are extremely proud of the Leighton Buzzard community who are always so generous and are always willing to support charities.
“It is always important to give something back to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves and we were able to raise a fantastic sum of £100 for the charity!
“We are determied this year to raise more money than ever before to help charities in the local area that are close to our hearts.
“We see the incredible work done by the Hearing Dogs charity on a regular basis as the dogs they train act as ears for many people.
“We hope that we can help to continue this work by supporting them and raising awareness of their fantastic efforts.”
