Paws for reflection after Crufts win for Scooby and Antonia
Scooby was one of 22,000 happy, healthy dogs at Birmingham’s NEC for the world’s largest show, competing alongside Great Brickhill owner Antonia Leech in the Young Kennel Club’s Handling competition for 17-24 year olds.
Presented by the Kennel Club, this year’s Crufts marked the 126th edition of the show, which attracts dogs and owners from all over the world as well as thousands of visitors over the course of the four days.

And after enjoying their own moment in the spotlight, Antonia, a veterinary medicine student at the University of Surrey, could not be more delighted with Scooby’s performance in the West Midlands after they walked away with first place.
“I’m super happy, I was not expecting it because it was a really tough group,” said 19-year-old Antonia.
“Scooby’s a dog in a million, you won’t find someone like him everywhere.
“I won best of breed with him at Crufts a few years ago so he’s my first ever Crufts champion. He’s very special to me.”
