A blind and deaf cat who went missing from its home for several weeks has been returned to its owner, following an online LBO article earlier this week.

The cat, called Ellie, was taken into the Heath and Reach Veterinary Surgery on June 1, by a member of the public who found her in his garden in the Brooklands area of Leighton.

Katie Chandler, from the vets, said: “Today she was reunited with her owner after another local vets rang to say they had a record of a cat matching her description reported missing a few weeks ago.

“She is normally a house cat but had somehow managed to get out and being both blind and deaf couldn’t find her way home.
