If you like darts then you’ll hit the bullseye if you pop along to the Clay Pipe pub in Appenine Way, Leighton on Saturday, February 21.
Fresh from his victory at the Dutch Open, Martin Adams will be appearing at a special event in aid of St Francis’ Children’s Society (SFCS), an adoption agency and registered charity based in Milton Keynes.
The three-time BDO World Champion and three-time World Masters champion will be at the Clay Pipe between 4pm and 10pm and will be playing any punter who wants to have a game – in return for a £3 donation to SFCS.
There is no entrance fee for the event and the whole family is invited along.
The evening also boast a top-quality raffle in aid of SFCS, and the charity will also be auctioning off a very special item.
The highest bidder will become the proud owner of a 2014 Sport Relief t-shirt which has been signed by footballers and popstars who were involved in the 2014 World Cup Song for England.
Signatures on the t-shirt include Gary Lineker, Michael Owen, Glenn Hoddle, Katy B, Eliza Doolittle, and Kimberley Walsh.
As well as placing vulnerable children with permanent families, SFCS provides a wide range of support services including counselling, ‘Theraplay’, and family events, to adoptive children (who’ve often had a difficult or traumatic start to their lives) and their families.
