Talks over the handover of a community lake from a developer to Central Bedfordshire Council are ongoing.
Pratts Quarry at the Sandhills Estate in Leighton Buzzard is due to be handed over by developers Arnold White Estates to CBC as part of Section 106 agreements.
CBC’s executive for stronger communities, Cllr Andrew Turner said: “Talks are still ongoing between Arnold White Estates and CBC as to what sum the developer may pay the council to take on the responsibilities and future costs associated with managing the lake.”
An approximate date for the handover of the remains undetermined.
Arnold White Estates were contacted but have so dar failed to respond to the LBO.
