she has been praised by Chloe Jones Marston, who booked a shoot with Bridget last year.

Chloe said: “Bridget is an amazing Pet Photographer, who is supporting Animal Rescues like HULA, RSPCA and Appledown.

“I loved her photos and also that she is helping rescues with photos and donates to them.”

Bridget studied photography with the Institute of Photography, she managed her studying around her job as a shop assistant at Reuben’s Gourmet Sandwiches, Leighton Buzzard.

She got her Advanced Diploma in Photography and in 2012 she started her pet photography business, Bridget Davey Photography.

She captures customers pets in a fun and relaxed session.

Her clients include dogs, cats, horses, chickens and bearded dragons.

Bridget said: “Pet photography is not just picking up a camera and taking a photo, it is creating a long lasting memory of your best friend and companion.”

She is donating £5 from every photo shoot to the rescues, at the end of the year the money will be split between HULA, Appledown and Blackberry Farm.

She said: “As a pet owners and dog lover giving back is very important to me, that is why I have been supporting HULA Animal Rescue in Aspley Guise since 2011, taking photos of the animals looking for their forever home.

“Working with these rescues is very rewarding, we share a lot of happy moments but sometimes the sad ones as well.

“Rescues do not have enough time to spend taking photos and also do not have the equipment and a photo is so important for a pet to find a new home.

“That is why I chose to work with HULA and the RSPCA, to take photo’s for them and help these wonderful animals find new homes.”

Bridget will be at the dog shows for the three rescues where she will be taking photos of the events, all proceeds from the sold photos goes to the rescues.

She will be at the Appledown Dog Show on Sunday, May 10, and the HULA Dog Show on Sunday, May 17.
