Group lobby MP over anti-lobby bill

Charities in Leighton-Linslade have joined thousands nationwide in protesting over government plans to curb their lobbying power.

A group of 14 people met South West Beds MP Andrew Selous to present a petition slamming a new Bill that will control lobbying from charities.

The MP said he’d look again at the impact of the Bill as said that his interpretation of the purpose and impact of the bill was very different from that of those presenting the petition.
