Leighton’s Reasons To Be Cheerful shop has been trading now for two-and-a-half years and has always had a plan to provide a creative space for children.
When a bigger High Street shop became available they knew that it was perfect for their ideas. Reasons To Be Crafty is now ready for children to come and enjoy a range of crafts.
Owner Debbie Brewer said: “We started off at half term offering a free session making wooden spoon puppets. Our after-school sessions for children over 7s will initially be running on Wednesday afternoons from4pm to 5.30pm with more sessions planned. We will also be offering children’s craft parties and specific workshops on a Saturday aimed at boys who seem to miss out on these kinds of activities.”
