The Edlesborough Festival returns next week with two days of music, art and ale, choirs, cuppas, bubbles and other happy moments.
Now in its 3rd year, the iconic landmark of the Church on the Hill will be packing in a programme of great music on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21.
A Children’s Choirfest will be officially opened by MP John Bercow, while the Saturday night Chill on the Hill event will unfold with a performance by the magnificent RAF Halton pipes and drum band who are taking part in the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in August.
Talented opera singer Jess Bergman, who is training at the Royal Academy and stunning audiences locally and internationally, will also perform.
Sensational pianist and vocalist Alex Miles will take the audience to piano heaven with a superb set of songs, a smile that lights up a room and a glow of professionalism that leaves her audiences stunned and calling for more.
There will also be a journey of jazz favourites from talented local musician friends who will be bringing back joyous rhythms and well known jazz favourites.
A licensed bar will be available, and a view to take your breath away!
On Sunday afternoon the festival will mellow for cream teas, local brews, art and a laid back afternoon of indulgence with acoustic local musicians.
Art workshops are on offer on Sunday and flower arranging on Saturday morning.
On Sunday evening, local bell ringers and a Songs of Praise 5pm service will bring the weekend to a close.
Tickets are £10, or £12 on the door if available, from Janes of Edlesborough, LU6 2HS, or call Vicky and Wyn on 01525 221744.
