Leighton Town will have a new look as they go into the Spartan South Midlands League next season, but it will feature a whole host of familiar faces back at Bell Close.
Manager Stuart Murray is no longer at the helm after overseeing Town’s relegation from Evo Stik Division 1 Central last season.
Instead, he has been replaced by former Town boss Paul Burgess, with Lee Halling - former Reserve Team manager - installed as his number two.
There will also be familiar faces in the coaching staff, with two former managers making a return to the club.
Sean Downey and Craig Wells also return to Bell Close having managed the first team in recent years with new coaching roles.
Downey will help co-ordinate the new Development Team which the club are running next season, also in the Spartan South Midlands League, and encourage positive links with the Leighton Town Youth U 17 side who are playing at Bell Close in the Easter Junior Alliance Sunday League.
The club though are still to name a manager for the Development Team, which will compete at reserve and U25 level.
The club would like to invite interested parties who would like to be involved either managing or coaching this new squad to contact the chairman by e-mail at email@example.com to express their interest.
