Renhold United duly claimed the Premier Division supported by Sportsform league title after gaining the one point they needed from a 1-1 home draw against Wilstead.

Ollie Housden their vital goalscorer against a visitors reply from Adam Budek. Whilst Flitwick Town are now within just a single point of gaining the seasons silver medals following their 2-1 victory at Wootton Blue Cross. Ritchie Bevan and Alex Robinson Welsh netting the Town’s goals against a lone reply from Ian Buckingham.

For third place Shefford Town & Campton it was a 4-1 away win at Caldecote who were going down to their fourth consecutive defeat. Sam Lewis, Andrew Hayday, Tom Scurfield and Michael Jones on the Town’s scoresheet against a lone reply from Matt Basta.

Whilst now fourth place AFC Oakley M&DH returned to winning ways with a 2-0 home win over Sandy. Ali Smith and Jack Hoogstraten netting the goals to do the damage. Dropping down one slot in the standings to fifth place despite taking their unbeaten ways up to 10 games are AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College who were held to a 0-0 home draw by Sharnbrook who thus brought an end to their four game losing run.

Elsewhere, Eastcotts AFC fell to their fourth consecutive home defeat when beaten 1-0 by Pavenham for whom Jack Harding struck to give his side the full three points.

A lone headed goal from Kieran Souter just six minutes into the contest was enough to enable Stevington to claim the 2014-15 season Bedfordshire FA Junior Cup with a 1-0 victory over Luton District & South Beds League side Caddington Rangers Reserves before a near 200 crowd at Biggleswade Town’s Carlsberg Stadium.

Division One supported by Wests Citroen Bedford

Cranfield United remain two points clear at the head of the Division One supported by Wests Citroen league table after they retained their seasons 100% home record with a 4-2 victory over third place Henlow. Martin Holland with a brace joined on the scoresheet by Philip Kempsell and Luke Gray against two in reply via Antony Bowskill.

Whilst second place Elstow Abbey kept up their challenge by winning 3-2 at AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College. Myles Ferraro, Aaron Cavill and Dom Parrella on the Abbey scoresheet against replies via Harry Ellis and Grovanni Moscaritolo.

The biggest winners of the day were Sundon Park Rangers who ran out 6-2 home winners over AFC Harlington. Shaka Anderson leading the way with a hat-trick and supported by goals from Nash Bennett, Chris Mapp and Matthew Conway against AFC replies from Kingsley Lambert and Matt Jefferson. Alas for fourth place Great Barford they were unable to raise a side to travel to face Potton Town and thus duly gifted the three points to their intended hosts.

For Meltis Albion it was a return to winning ways for the first time in eight outings with a 3-2 victory at AFC Oakley M&DH Reserves. Dan Taylor netting twice and Alex Smith once against home replies from Jamie Endersby and Neil Langley. Whilst Shefford Town & Campton Reserves took their unbeaten ways up to six games in sharing the spoils in a 1-1 home draw with Queens Park Crescents. Dean Darocha on the home scoresheet against a Crescents reply via Anish Khinda.

Alas bottom of the table Marabese Ceramics are still awaiting their first home win of the season after being held to a 2-2 draw by third from bottom of the table Bedford SA. Michael Darnell and Joe Follano on the home scoresheet against replies via an own goal and Ashlee Banton.

Division Two

Stevington just 16 hours after claiming the 2014-15 season Beds FA Junior Cup were back in action to retain their two point lead at the head of the division two league table by winning for the eighth time on the bounce away from home with a 6-0 win at bottom of the table Wilstead Reserves. Sam Nightingale with a brace joined on the scoresheet by Tom McGirl, James Bouke, Aaran Hewitt and Jordan Wright.

It was also a grand day on the road for FC Houghton who climbed above the non-playing Westoning into second spot and took their unbeaten ways up to 20 games with a 6-1 victory at Wootton Village. Lawrence Taylor leading the way with a hat-trick, Mark Doran netting a brace and Alex Howells striking once against a lone Adam Flynn penalty in reply.

However, the biggest away winners of the day were Kempston Hammers who returned to winning ways on the road for the first time in six outings by winning 9-0 at Elstow Abbey Reserves. Chris Greene netting four times to go with single strikes from Jack Breteton, Matt Dingley, Nathan Evans and Jimmy Grandidge and Dan Havil.

There were also away wins for Renhold United Reserves and Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves. United with four goals from Michael France winning 4-2 at Bedford United whose goals came via Guiseppe Lamberti and Michael Bailey and the Rovers winning by the same 4-2 scoreline at Kempston Athletic. Gary Russon twice plus Carl Borromeo and Andrew Elms on the Rovers scoresheet against Athletic replies via Sean Betts and Tom Knight.

The lone home win of the afternoon belonging to Moggerhanger United who ran out 4-2 winners over second from bottom of the table Caldecote Reserves. Lee Adams with a brace joined on the United scoresheet by Brandon Bates and Luke Rudd against replies from Joe Rowley and Jake Bruce.

Alas for Meltis Albion Reserves their failure to raise a side to entertain Clapham Sports at Miller Road gifted the visitors the three points.

Watson Shield Quarter-Final

Atletico Europa will now face a Semi-final tie against Flitwick Town Reserves after running out 4-0 home winners over Sandy Reserves. Daniel Green with a brace joined on the scoresheet by Kane Alexander and Mo Banda.

Division Three

Cranfield United Reserves are now four points clear at the head of the division three league table after they retained their seasons unbeaten home ways with a 4-0 victory over White Eagles. Daniel Mclaren netting twice alongside single strikes from Adam Kerr and Jordan Conway. Whilst Flitwick Town Reserves quest for a top two spot took a knock when they were beaten 1-0 at home by FC Serbia thanks to an own goal.

Elsewhere, bottom of the table Mid Beds Tigers netted just their fourth league win of the season with a 4-1 home victory over Caldecote U20 who are still in search of their first away win of the season. Robert Gaylor netting twice alongside Chris Cooper and David Smith against a lone reply via James Blows.
