Leighton Town will go into tonight’s (Tuesday) game with bottom of the league side North Greenford United fresh and raring to go after their game with Ware on Saturday was postponed.
With the recent cold snap in the weather, the Ware FC pitch was declared unsafe for the game to go ahead at the weekend.
A date for the rearranged fixture has yet to be set.
It has heaped even more importance though on tonight’s encounter with rock bottom North Greenford.
Already a rearranged fixture, Town will be looking to pick up three points to get themselves out of the relegation zone, leapfrogging Aylesbury United.
Town currently sit second from bottom of Evo Stik Division 1 Central with 15 points from 24 games, four points clear of North Greenford and two behind Aylesbury United.
