The strings will definitely be attached when a theatre company brings a re-telling of a classic by Hans Christian Andersen.

The Tinderbox can be seen on Wednesday April 12 with two performances at the Leighton Buzzard Library Theatre.

A roguish soldier acquires a magic tinderbox which gives him the power to summon three extraordinary dogs to do his bidding.

This is a production by performed by two puppeteers and is designed for children aged four and over as well as their families.

Previous touring productions include Pied Piper, Red Riding Hood, Rumpelstiltskin in collaboration with Ripstop Theatre, as well as Oddly based on the children’s book written by Joyce Dunbar and Three Colours for early years audiences in collaboration with Polka Theatre.
