More than 90 guests joined the City Fiction team at BAFTA for the launch of Leighton author Tony Drury’s fifth novel The Lady Who Turned.
The book tells of the attempt by an East European gangster to gain control of The Lady magazine. A City corporate financier rides to the rescue and falls in love with the magazine’s editor, the beautiful Esther.
Tony is pictured with the managing director of The Lady magazine, Helen Robinson, who was the guest speaker.
Tony has been invited to be guest author at The Lady magazine’s literary lunch this month.
The Lady Who Turned is available from all good book shops and Amazon.
Tony will in store at Tesco, Linslade on December 17 from 10am to 12noon, where he will be doing a Christmas book signing.
