The group will stage the show Natural Causes at Leighton Buzzard Library Theatre from Thursday to Saturday, September 27 to 29.

Vincent, a somewhat inept professional suicide merchant with a huge chip on his shoulder has been summoned by Walter Bryce to help his wife Celia end it all.

Seems pretty straight forward? So why are her suicide letters typed and unsigned? Where does the shapely secretary fit in?

Can the Samaritans save the day?

Will the rubber plant survive? And just what IS so bad about Slough?

Find out in this show which a spokesman for the group said is an hilarious black comedy that’s as daft as it is dark.

The comedy has been written by Eric Chappell and directed by Carl Russell.

The group has been performing shows in the town since 1956 and has performed a wide variety of material in the past.

The group produces three shows a year and has recently performed works by the likes of Harold Pinter and Alan Ayckbourn.

In addition, the members have also taken on the classic sitcom Blackadder.

It is also the final show the drama group will be performing this year as following the performance of Natural Causes, the members will be hard at work getting ready for the pantomime Puss in Boots, which they will be performing in January next year.

The show will start at 8pm each evening and tickets cost between £12 and £14.

They can be booked by calling the box office on 0300 300 8125 or by visiting www.leightonbuzzardlibrarytheatre.co.uk.
