Make it snappy for this weekend of top rock

The Gators are snapping back! Tail-Gator return to The Wheatsheaf in North Street, Leighton on Friday night (November 14) with their great mix of covers and original music influenced by the likes of Aerosmith, AC/DC, Led Zepp and ZZ Top.

This popular four-piece band have played the Wheatie on many occasions and always delight with their party rock mix which also includes numbers from Thin Lizzy, Rainbow and David Lee Roth plus great originals like ‘Gator-bites’.

The band are: Ian ‘Biggo’ Graves on vocals, Tom Brennan on guitar and vocals, Barry ‘Baz Lightyear; Evans on Bass and vocals and on sticks, drummer Michael ‘Mighty Mick’ Samsonoff.

On Saturday, The Bleeding Hearts hit the stage again with ‘a bucketful of musical emotion’.

Bleeding Hearts are: Foxie on guitar and lead vocals, Gaz on drums, Gel on bass and Ewan on the mandolin.

These guys get about a bit having played at festivals across the UK, Europe and North America, they’ve played at Glastonbury and supported bands such as The Darkness, The Dammed, Fishbone, Miles Hunt, The Levellers and The Oysterband – to name but a few!

Between gigs and tours they have found time over the past few years to released two EPs and six albums.

Music at the Wheatie starts around 9.30pm on both evenings and admission is free.
