Del Bromham’s brilliant vintage hard rock band Stray return to the Wheatsheaf in North Street, Leighton on Saturday (December 6).
Del has been gigging with Stray from back in 1966 when they became firm favourites on the London Club circuit. In 1971 they played their first Reading Festival and then went on to tour both in the UK when they supported The Groundhogs and overseas.
The band have supported many well known acts including Status Quo, Kiss, Canadian band Rush and Black Sabbath – the latter at Alexandra Palace.
With gigs at hallowed venues such as The Marquee Club, The Rainbow and The Symphony Hall in Birmingham, the Wheatie gig is quite an intimate experience for Del and Stray!
On Friday (December 5), it’s the regular Wheatie ‘Open Mic’ night again, so if you want your 15 minutes of fame send Letty an email at email@example.com and book your spot!
Bands are on at 9.30pm and entry is free.
