Help for brave boy who lost legs and hand to meningitis
Kye Vincent, 8, had both legs amputated to the knee along with his left hand at St Mary’s Hospital in London on April 14.
The LBO reported on Kye’s story two weeks ago, speaking to mum Cheryl Vincent who has remained at Kye’s side since he was admitted to hospital early in March.

Hide AdKye’s godmother Adele Doherty has set up justgiving pages online to help raise funds for the famiy.
She said: “The response has been overwelming and I can’t describe what it means to Kye and his family knowing we are helping secure any equipment he may need, as well as new technology with prosthetics that may arise in the future.”
On May 7, there will be a charity football match at Leighton Buzzard Football Club at Bells Close. The gates will open at 12noon, with tickets at £3 for adults, £1.50 for children and free for under 9s.
There will also be live music at the event, with a bouncy castle, face painting and a burger van, all organised by friends of Kye’s stepdad Luke.

Hide AdOrganiser Daniel Osborne, said: “From the minute we found put, me and my friend Ashley Hyde have been wanting to do something.
“Luke loves football, and so we thought it would be a great thing to do.”
As well as the football match there has been a number of other activities organised to help raise funds.
The band Isabelle will perform at the Wheatsheaf in Leighton Buzzard at 9.30pm on Saturday, May 14, in an effort to raise some funds.

Hide AdKye’s cousin Chris Kempster plans to do a sky dive from 3,500ft on June 25.
And on August 27, Solution Sounds are organising a family fun day at Dunstablians Rugby Club, Bidwell Park, in Houghton Regis.
