Police have issued several CCTV images of people they would like to speak to following recent incidents in Linslade.
Between 6.45pm and 7pm on Friday, February 5, a man attempted to force entry to two neighbouring properties in Mowbray Drive.
Police are also investigating the theft of a bank card and cash after a burglary at another property in Mentmore Road on Monday, January 25. Between 5pm and 7.30pm, two men gained entry to a house and took a bank card, pin number and money from a safe.
Attempts to use the bank card were made throughout the evening of January 25 at cashpoints in Bedford Square, Houghton Regis and St Dominic’s Square, Luton.
Det Con Ann Ward, from CID South, said “Burglary is not acceptable and we remain committed to tackling it and catching those responsible.
“If anyone has any information about either incident, we would urge them to get in touch. However we would particularly like to speak to the people pictured in the CCTV images, as we believe they will be able to help with our enquiries.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact CID South on 101, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
