The Angry Birds Movie, The Secret Life of Pets, The BFG and Ice Age: Collision Course can all be seen at the theatre.

Based on the hit game app, Angry Birds (U) is an eye-popping comedy about the loveable-but-antsy projectile birds.

Viewers are taken to an island paradise where the birds are all living a happy life. All, that is, except for the outsiders Red, Bomb and Chuck.

When the island is invaded by green piggies, the unlikely heroes take action.

The Secret Life of Pets (U)sees Max the terrier and mongrel Duke working together to deal with an adorable but crazy bunny called Snowball.

He is building an army of abandoned pets to take revenge on all happily-owned pets and their masters.

The BFG (PG), directed by Steven Spielberg, is based on the much-loved book by Roald Dahl and tells the story of Sophie who encounters the Big Friendly Giant.

Despite his appearance, he turns out to be a kindly creature who is considered an outcast by others of his kind because, unlike them, he refuses to eat children.

Ice Age: Collision Course (U) sees acorn-obsessed sabre-toothed squirrel Scrat continuing his adventures in Space, where he triggers a series of mishaps that transform and threaten the planet.
