Rock n Roll at Heath RBL
THE Royal British Legion in Thrift Road, Heath & Reach, presents its monthly live rock ‘n’ roll on Saturday evening when they feature a legendary rock ‘n’ roll / rockabilly revival band called Johnny and the Jailbirds, featuring Johnny Red. The band were formed at the end of 1973 and it wasn’t long before they had gained a huge following on the circuit in the UK and abroad. Johnny and the Jailbirds were rockin’ around Europe for just over seven years during which time they established themselves as one of the great British rock ‘n’ roll bands.
They reformed the band again in 2000 and have continued where they left off, attracting many new fans along the way.
The evening also features a DJ. Doors open at 7.30pm. Non members are welcome and entrance is payable on the door. For more info contact Steve 01525 237923
