It’s time for pantomime again, with Leighton Buzzard Drama Group’s production of Treasure Island – starting on January 9 with a Relaxed Performance (primarily for a SEND audience) followed by 14 regular shows from January 10 to January 25.

Shows are on Thursday evenings, Friday evenings and three on each Saturday.

The HMS Hispaniola with its band of pirates travels the high seas searching for hidden treasure. Audiences will meet Hettie Hawkins, the pub landlady, and her son Jim who is secretly in love with Suzie, while they pit their wits against the evilest pirate ever, Black Dog, and the useless Roger and Dodger.

And what do Blind Pew, Ben Gunn, Long John Sillier and Captain Jack Swallow get up to? Better go along and see! Will there be laughs a plenty? Oh yes. Will there be songs to sing along with? Indeed! Will they find the treasure? Only one way to find out!
