Wild times expected at safari park over the bank holiday

This half term you can enjoy wild safari adventures, have a delicious barbecue treat, win prizes as you help with fundraising for the Giraffe Conservation Fund and meet a favourite children’s TV character.

It’s all happening at Woburn Safari Park this bank holiday weekend.

On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the catering team at the Safari Lodge will be laying on a barbecue feast on the decking overlooking the Desert Springs walk-through enclosure. Enjoy the culinary delights on offer, while you enjoy the view over the leisure area and Swan Lake.

Then on the Sunday, TV’s Peppa Pig will be appearing at intervals (from 11.30am) to greet her young fans at the
Elephant Meadow showground.

OnMonday, the giraffe keepers will be at the Visitor Enrichment Centre, selling special VIP experiences to go off road and meet the giraffe herd, in aid of the park’s first charity this year – the Giraffe Conservation Fund.

There will be face painting, plus a special charity raffle. You can also book a very special up-close giraffe meet and greet on the day.
