Leighton Buzzard Rugby Club shirt sales aim to help NHS

Leighton Buzzard Rugby Club in partnership with its kit supplier - Raging Bull - has has started to sell special T-shirts and polo shirts as a way of thanking NHS workers who are working tirelessly through the coronavirus pandemic.

The shirts range from £15-£25, with at least £5 of the selling price of each shirt going to an NHS charity.

Stuart Trotter, director of rugby, said: “The idea came about through my discussions with club chairman Lee Beaumont. Leighton Buzzard Rugby Club is a community club, a community that is made up of volunteers, players and supporters who have a close link with the NHS either through jobs themselves of family members who work for the NHS.

“Our club very much replies on support from the local community so we would like to give back a little something.
