Bellway is investing more than £1 million towards education in the area, plus payments totalling more than £770,000 towards improving transport. Further payments of £148,000 are also earmarked for community facilities.

Lindsey Davenport, Sales Manager for Bellway Northern Homes Counties, said: “Our Lestone Mews development is part of a wider project of regeneration on the southern edge of Leighton Buzzard.

“Everywhere that we build new homes, we are committed to helping communities develop, and these contributions are a great way for us to do that.

“Good education and neighbourhood facilities are essential to ensuring happy and connected communities and we are only too pleased that our donations will help make a significant difference to the local area.”

Work started on site at Lestone Mews early last year and there’s currently a range of three and four-bedroom houses and two-bedroom apartments available. More information at www.bellway.co.uk.
