The company has seen driver demand soar this year and the company now works with 50,000 drivers across the UK. The company has also revealed that driver satisfaction has never been as high, with 89% saying they are satisfied, in part due to the vital role that they are carrying out in their communities as ‘key workers’ and the strong public support they have received during the pandemic.

To keep drivers safe while out on the road, the company offers free insurance to ensure all they are protected. The company also offers other perks, such as free training courses for drivers and their families.

Berenice Cowan, Head of UK Expansion for Deliveroo said, "At last, we've arrived in Leighton Buzzard! We can't wait to bring everyone great food from local and national favourites, and to help local chefs reach new customers. Hungry foodies, here we come!"
